This thread will be used as a storing place for results from notable online tournaments in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. It should act as a nice resource for character and player data. Please try to keep discussion in here at a minimum.
Here's a template for what posts should generally look like:
[Tournament link]
[Tournament name] [Number of entrants] [Online]
1. Player 1
2. Player 2
3. Player 3
4. Player 4
5. Player 5
5. Player 6
7. Player 7
7. Player 8
Characters should be placed in the general order of how much the player used them, from left to right. Other helpful things could be to provide the stream link, or separating secondaries with notation (like putting "," or "|" after the main if a character is involved in taking at least one set and putting ",," or "||" if a character took games, but not a set for example).
In terms of how much to report, smaller tournaments should generally have their top 4 or top 8 listed, regional tournaments with around 70-80+ entrants should tend to have a top 8, super regionals with hundreds of entrants should tend to have a top 16-32, and majors/international tournaments should typically have a top 32-64 listed. Use your judgement and post what you think's appropriate.
This thread was made so online tournaments didn't clutter up the actual tournament results thread and affect any data that people may use the other thread for.
I would also ask that if top 8 includes any DQs, please don't include it, but it's up to you. Use your discretion!
