Will I be able to play friends in the States or will I be limited to my own Wii region?

Searched a few pages and couldn't find an answer.

Well, when I play Pokemon Battle Revolution online I meet people from China, so i guess its the same for Brawl, worldwide that is.

You can play anyone in the world, except the fact that it will lag more when you play agains a guy in Japan.

Yes, you can play against anyone, but it will be more laggy when the opponent lives faraway

You can play anyone in the world. The connection might be terrible though. For example, Mario Strikers: Charged has really bad connection if I'm playing with someone in Japan, but they use the lag to their advantage.

lol, I remember playing the number 1 ranked person in Mario Strikers Charged. He was pretty nuts. Thank goodness there was no lag and I could have a true fight with him.

Yup you can brawl with anyone in the world, it will be awhile though before everyone in the world gets SSBB though

I would think so, but im not sure if you'd need a japanese Wi-Fi USB connector or not.
