SSBB costume/ sd card problems

so... About two years ago, I tried to download costumes for brawl, but when I finished it did not work, and to add to that whenever I put any SD card in my computer now, it is write protected and I have tried many things to fix it, but none of it has worked. This is a huge problem because now I can't get PM 3.5 or any costumes, has anybody had this problem before? If you have solved it, please reply and tell me how to fix this!

Is the card unlocked (the switch on the left should be pushed up)?

I have tried that and it did not work but I did try it with multiple sc cards and they did not work.

You mean you've tried different SD cards in your computer, and none of those worked? Does your SD card work in other computers?

No it does not, and whenever I put an sd card in another computer, the sd cards don't work on the computer anymore.

Go to your device manager and check what sd card reader you have and see if it needs updating. If you dont have one then look up your laptop/pc model on google and look for the drivers.

*UPDATE* so I tried it on my dad's laptop, and surprisingly, it worked so problem solved! Currently downloading pm 3.5!!!
