Hey everyone, I am new to these boards, and I was wondering, is there any way to play ssb for the n64 online? I looked on google, and there is something called an N64 USB adapter. Is this what I would need to buy to play with people over the computer? If so, how would I connect with other people through this?I am sorry if this is a dumb question, but I really want more people to play with and I am completely computer illiterate, so I don't know if playing N64 over the internet is even possible...but I just thought I would ask. Thanks!

it is possible im not personally sure how partially because I don't care and plus I heard the mods of the servers that host the game are huge jerks... Im sure if you type in play smash bros n64 emulator online, on google you should find something.

I did a bit of searching it should be p. soon that we see melee online, seeing that the GC emus have alot of things running full speed now.

But however unless someone spends some time writing good netcode don't expect it to be good, though it will probably be better than brawl online hahaha.

SSB64 has less lag than Brawl.
If you have a decent internet connection that is.

Playing online through servers is easy and fun, you can stop making negative assumptions now.

OP, yes it is possible. Just check out the SSB forums somewhere above here for more info.

Yeah, most people in the SSB forum actually use online.

Server play is pretty laggy, but P2P has pretty low delay. Most of the time, you'll have 3 frames input delay, same state/region has a shot for 2.
