I had some friends over yesterday and 2 of them play using the 3DS. I said that we should play on the Miiverse stage because the music and images that come up in the background are worth a play. We tried to play a 4 player free for all and the Miiverse stage was blacked out... anyone know why?

I've asked this same question before, and I believe the answer I got was something along the lines of the WiiU using WiFi receivers to connect to the 3DS wirelessly, and trying to use a Wi-Fi connection towards the 3DS and receiving information from Miiverse at the same time would be too overloading or something.

I had the same problem. Is anyone sure if this really is a 3DS problem. If so that explains why 3DS doesn't work online
