Most likely additions (or even ssb4 dlc's)

1. Meowth- intended for Smash 64, yes he was meant to be one of the original fighters and wasn't involved due to time constraints. This is also the case for Bowser, Peach, Pit, Mewtwo, and King Dedede and they were all added later.
2. Dixie Kong- expand DK character list
3. Tails/Shadow/Knuckles/Amy- expand sonic character list (probably just one)
4. Mrs. Pacman- namco expansion
5. Mrs. Game & Watch- classic
6. Waluigi/Daisy/Birdo/Toad/Captain Toad- mario expansion
7. Chrom
8. Revivals- Snake, Ice Climbers, Lucas, Ivysaur, Squirtle, Wolf, Roy, and Pichu.
9. Dark Samus
10. Marshal- intended for SSB4

Most Likely Cut

(In the last 2 games pichu, squirtle, venusaur, and mewtwo have been cut so pokemon are at a larger risk)
