Hey Guys when i did the patch my copy of ssb4 for stopped working please help

Could you be a bit more specific please? For example:

When does it freeze? Does it freeze upon startup? ...upon completing a match? etc.

Welcome to the club. I had a similar problem. The update data is corrupted and can not be installed on my USB stick. It's also undeleteable and impossible to move. So I can't access my intact Savedata. Very frustrating indeed. No one, including Nintendo, seems to know what to do.

Hmm... sounds like save data may be corrupt. Can anything be changed about the save data in System Settings?

Is there an error code whenever it freezes? Usually on Wii U, the game crashes but boots you back to the home screen.
