Not a fan of these rules really...
These are the same rules that are used in the 2v2 for glory mode online with the exception of not picking the same character as your partner. There are other tournaments on here that have the other type of rules.

I know it's how it is on for glory, but I prefer team attack on personally. I do hope this tournament turns out well for you though.

Rule set promotes RAGE via team projectile spam and timer scam (rhyme time). Not trying to be rude, but I think a more popular rule set would involve team damage 'on' and a stock limit instead of time only.

I understand that this is why some people like team attack on, however there are issues I find with team attack on and stock for team matches. Stock matches means that once one member of a team is eliminated, The losing team has very little chance at coming back because it will be 2v1. While team attack can prevent projectile spamming, It also hinders players who main projectile heavy characters like toon link and mega man. Because it is best 2 out of 3, If you face a projectile spam team in the first game, all you have to do is choose anti projectile characters in the second game. I play a ton of 2v2 for glory matches and there aren't many people who choose to projectile spam, and those who do are easily countered by anyone who can reflect (mario, dr mario, fox, falco, zelda, pit, dark pit, palutena) or villager who can pocket or charizard who can go through projectiles with flare blitz. You just have to learn how to get around projectile spam teams.

Go for it man. IMO team attack on requires more skill than throwing moves out. It hinders projectile characters who aren't careful.

I also like being able to do combos with my teammate that would not work with team attack on. Like using the bowsercide to grab someone and land right in front of villagers timber. You can still do this with it on, but bowser would also suffer huge damage.

my twin and I would sign up but I rather have the tournament rules like team attack on and stocks. You can still do combos you just have to do good follow ups from your partner and vice versa. Also depends on the chemistry of your partner which requires more skill.
