Luigi uses the Poltergust G-00 to suck up air, pulling nearby opponents toward him.
If inputted backwards he makes the Poltergust blow out air, pushing opponents away.
Luigi can move while Vacuuming or Blowing (move the Left Stick while holding "B").

Up Special: Balloon Berry
Luigi uses the Poltergust G-00 it inflate a purple berry, allowing him to fly freely.
Attacking the Balloon Berry mid-flight destroys it, sending him into freefall status.
If used on the ground, Luigi fires the Balloon Berry from the Poltergust G-00 instead.

Down Special: Burst
Luigi uses the Poltergust G-00 to create a large gust of wind that lifts him upward and pushes opponents away.
If used midair, the gust of wind is sent downwards. Any opponent caught in the gust is dragged along with it.
Holding "B" gives Luigi more height, while the Poltergust G-00 creates a larger and offensive gust of air below him.

Shield Special: Elemental Medals
Luigi equips a medalion that allows the Poltergust G-00 to harness one of three elements.
After equipping an Element Medal, using Side Special shoots a stream of Fire, Water or Ice.
The Element Medals also effect Forward Throw, Back Throw (Slam) and Down Special (Burst).
A meter shows how much elemental energy he can use. Once it runs out, the Poltergust G-00 returns to normal.

A special electric socket appears, emitting an electrical current into the Poltergust G-00, giving it some extra suction power.
Once activated, the Poltergust G-00 creates a large vortex while vacuuming, any opponent caught in it is dealt multihit damage.
After a seven seconds, Luigi fires any vacuumed opponent into the sky. Luigi can aim the Poltergust G-00's Super Suction during it's use.
