Fighter Moveset
Normal
:GCA:
Jab: One Two Punch (Reese does two punches followed by an uppercut)
Dash Attack: Ollie (Reese thrusts forward on his skateboard, dealing damage to anyone he collides with)
Forward Tilt: Bat Swing (Reese thrusts his bat forwards, dealing damage and knocking the opponent back)
Up Tilt: Bat Thrust (Reese thrusts his bat upwards in an uppercut motion)
Down Tilt: Sweeping Kick (Reese performs a sweeping kick that can trip opponents)

Smash :GCCN:
Forward Smash: Home Run (Reese smacks the opponent with his bat. This attack is functionally identical to Ness's Forward Smash)
Up Smash: Strong Bat Thrust (This is a buffed version of his up tilt with more damage and knockback)
Down Smash: Smack the Puck (Reese smacks the opponent with a hockey stick, sending them flying)

Aerial :GCX:
Neutral Aerial: Baseball-fu (Reese performs a three hit combo with his bat)
Forward Aerial: Free Throw (Reese throws a basketball forwards)
Back Aerial: Football Toss (Reese throws a football behind himself)
Up Aerial: VertiGo-Go (Reese performs a spinning attack on his skateboard that can hit multiple opponents. This attack is based on one of Reese’s signature tricks in Backyard Skateboarding)
Down Aerial: Thrust Jab (Reese thrusts his leg downwards, which can spike opponents)

Grab ‘n’ Throws :GCZ:
Pummel: Football Tackle (Reese picks up the opponent and tackles them to the ground like how you would tackle someone in American football)
Forward Throw: Smash and Grab (Reese grabs the opponent, and punches them twice before throwing them forwards)
Back Throw: Backwards Smash and Grab (Like the forward throw, except Reese throws them behind himself instead)
Up Throw: Sandlot Power Lift (Reese grabs the target and throws them upwards like they're a sports ball)
Down Throw; Playground Trap (Reese grabs the target and smashes them into the ground, burying them in the process)

Specials :GCB:
Neutral Special: Baseball Toss (Reese tosses a baseball forwards with his bat. The baseball is a physical projectile, meaning that Ness and Lucas can’t absorb it using PSI Magnet to heal themselves and Mr. Game & Watch can’t use it to power Oil Panic)
Side Special: Soccer Kick (Reese places a soccer ball on the ground and kicks it upwards. A Soccer Ball item is then produced. A Soccer Ball item will spawn even if items are set to off and none)
Up Special: Slam Dunk (Reese jumps into the air holding a basketball in his hands and slams into the ground dealing area of effect damage)
Down Special: Grind (Reese gets on his skateboard and grinds against the ground for as long as you hold the buttons. Reese is immobile while the attack is active and he stops if he's damaged. It can quickly rack up damage if you get an enemy caught while he's grinding)

Final Smash: Aluminum Power Bat
Reese smacks the target with his bat, knocking them onto the middle of a baseball diamond, where Reese is up to bat. Reese uses the aluminum power bat to smack a baseball which hits the target, sending them flying. Reese will shout "Home Run!" if the attack results in a KO.

Alternate Costumes:
Alt 1: A green buttoned up shirt with khaki pants and white shoes. This references his appearance in Baseball 2005.
Alt 2: A red shirt with his fighter number on it with white pants and white and red cleats, along with a red and white hat. This resembles the uniforms of real life baseball teams.
Alt 3: A white shirt with blue denim overalls and no shoes. This outfit references Marky Dubois, another backyard kid.
Alt 4: A blue buttoned up shirt with pens in a pocket protector, black pants, and white shoes. This outfit references Dmitri Petrovich, another backyard kid.
Alt 5: A yellow polo shirt with white sweater vest, blue shorts and white shoes. This alt references his appearance in Baseball 2001.
Alt 6: A pale yellow shirt with blue pants, red and white shoes, and a pair of headphones. This outfit references Achmed Khan, another backyard kid.
Alt 7: A green and white shirt bearing the logo of the recurring Melonheads team in the series with green pants and green and white sneakers
Alt 8: A purple and black shirt designed after the logo of the company that created him, Humongous Entertainment. This alt also comes with purple shorts and purple shoes.

Miscellaneous
Animations

Entrance Animation: Reese runs onto the stage exhausted before pulling out his inhaler and using it. This references his "at bat" animation in the original Backyard Baseball.
Idle 1: Reese looks around curiously
Idle 2: Reese turns towards the camera and smiles
Idle 3: Reese pulls out a baseball and poses with it. If he is attacked while this idle pose is playing, then he will drop the ball and a Beastball item will be created. This will occur even if items are turned off.
Up Taunt: Reese does poses with his bat.
Side Taunt: Reese pulls out his inhaler and uses it.
Down Taunt: Reese does an “arm fart” referencing an animation that can play during the character select screen in the early games.
Victory Pose 1: Reese poses with his bat twice before striking one final pose.
Victory Pose 2: Reese jumps up twice then does a V pose with his right hand.
Victory Pose 3: Reese drops to the ground out of exhaustion before pulling out his inhaler and using it.

Here are some interesting trivia facts if Reese does get into Smash:

1. He would be the third playable character in Smash without any ties to a Japanese company or franchise, after Banjo & Kazooie and Steve, and the first to not be owned by Microsoft at the time of his addition.
2. He would be the first playable character in Smash without any games released in Japan prior to his addition in Smash.
3. He would be the second playable character, after Steve, to debut on the PC.
4. He would be the second playable fighter to be created by an American company, after Dark Samus, and the first to not be an Echo Fighter.
5. He would be the first third party child character to be playable in Smash.
6. If this moveset is used, he would be the second character with an attack that can summon an item onto the field, after Diddy Kong.

Here's my concept for his reveal trailer:

It starts out innocently, as many of the Backyard Kids are playing baseball together in the park as Sunny Day and Vinnie the Gooch commentate. But then suddenly, a Smash envelope falls from the sky and the kids stop playing baseball and instead start fighting over who gets to join Smash. There's a lot of pushing, shoving, punching, and more as Pablo Sanchez grabs the envelope and just as he was about to be announced as the next Smash fighter he gets a baseball right to the face and collapses to the ground as the envelope falls from his hands. When he looks up, he sees the person who threw the baseball at him, Reese, walk up to him as he grabs the envelope and is announced with the tagline "Reese Batters Up!".
