SRT OG 1&2 and SRW series Thread

I didn't notice any type of thread for this and I'd like to see what others who've played this series and enjoyed it like about and what's their style in using characters and mechs.

While most of the SRW series haven't been introduced to the US coast due to copyright problems most of us have only gotten to enjoy the Super Robot Taisen: Original Generation that was released on the GBA and personally I'd like to see more be released in the states.

Feel free to discuss ideas and strategies that you used in your game, and perhaps look into what Atlus might be showing us soon in the next few months.

There's one coming out for the DS in April...I can't wait. Kyosuke was my favorite character out of the series...

Wow thats a fast response! Yeah you're talking about SRT OG saga for the DS correct?

From what I've gathered it'll be similar to capcom X namco I believe in terms of combat and while you'll see the Alt. and Gesp. they won't be giant robots this time.

Kyosuke was a good character but for a certain portion of the game I found that the lack of alert until at least half-way through the game made him difficult to use against some guys *Wodan*

Arado was actually my favorite since he was built similar to Kyosuke in stats he had more evasion and by using him you got one of the most useful weapons in OG2...the Boost Hammer that should stay on him the whole time.
