Spyro the Dragon: what are his chances?

Spyro, now established on four nintendo consoles, is a popular character since he made his name on the playstation

as I have only played one Spyro game, and I did have a moveset lined up but because of major lag and viruses, it disappeared, much to my dispare, I can't/wont come up with a moveset right now. however, if luck is with us, i may find the time and energy to make one up... again.

I decided to make a thread, as not a single one exists at the moment. I'm not a big fan of Spyro, the same way about Lloyd or Ryu, but he's one of those characters which urges me to play as them.
For Ryu, Street fighter was one of my first video games, ever, so I feel that he would be a familiar character to use
For Lloyd, the use of two swords is one of my favourite swordsman disciplines, so is Sword and Shield, so I would choose him by default

and for Spyro, he just seems like a character that would be fun to play. I can't explain why, or how, but I just feel that way

so, what do you think, Would the purple dragon stand a chance of making it in?

Well, I had a go. I got the idea when I was watching the advert for the new spyro game. I thought about it and made a moveset, it disappeared, then this came along. ah well.

He doesn't have a chance, he is not that popular, and there are a lot of more iconic and important third party characters out there.

I put Spyro in the same catagory as Crash. Failed mascots that are far too new in the gaming world to qualify as 3rd party characters in Brawl.

Just to clarify, though, the first Spyro game on the Playstation is one of the best 3D platform games of all time. Crash Bandicoot can go die in a hole.

his chances aren't zero....they just aren't great. I'd love to see him in brawl but I'm not sure if it will happen

He seems like he'd be pretty unique. I think he has a better chance then bandicoot but apart from that he's pretty low

Still Sakurai is known for being unpredictable so you never know (I keep saying this because it's true)

He has one thing going for him, he'd be another character to show off the gliding mechanic.
