Sprites to replace models.

Hello everyone.

I'm here to ask if there is a Smash Bros mod, replacing all Characters, Attacks and Stages into 2D Sprites.
So far I have only seen an 8-bit Mario skin which is the inspiration for this question.

I don't think there is one, and wouldn't say it's impossible buuuuuut it would require a huge amount of time and rework I imagine.

I suppose there's always SSF2...if it interests you, google Super Smash Flash 2.0. It's compatible with GCCs if you have a USB adaptor to hook it up with I think

Super Smash Flash lacks that Melee feel though

I was thinking more along the lines of a re-skin for the whole game, making it into a Sprite-based Fighter but with Project M's engine.

Like an anime fighter? Those are pretty cool I guess. Yeah, I think you're gonna be stuck without much hope for this until someone likes your idea and makes it themselves. Or alternatively, you could just get good with GnW or Kirby+GnW lolol

It's certainly possible. There's a Marisa Kirisame mod over lucas based on her scarlet weather rhapsody appearance, fully 2d.
