Do tournaments still ban spring removal often? If so, why? I don't see why you can't remove them if you wish, and I would prefer to have one spring removed and the other one kept.

Spring removal isn't banned, I have mine taken out in both controllers. I don't know if it's possible to make it work if you play Melee, however, due to lightshielding and whatnot. (Don't know anything about Melee lol)
