Sponsorship Questions

I'm really curious about Smash 4 sponsorships and I can't find the answers I'm looking for and it's been driving me nuts. I don't know if anyone out there has answers to my questions and hopefully you guys will, but what does it take to get sponsored for Smash 4?

I am unsure how it works but my advice would be keep going to tournaments and shooting for the top 10s or top 5s to get recognized by a sponsor. Going to the major tournaments would be a must.

It's more about a presence if anything I'd say. Results aren't necessary as much as being recognizable, although results help acheive that so keep at it. Being involved with social media helps too, you're spreading their name so followers will certainly catch there interest. Being involved with streaming your video making should help too, really whatever can give sponsors visibility is bound to catch their interest.
