Do you like to have everything spoiled for you as far as characters go in these type of games or do you rather come in blind?

I will try to not spoil the game aside from the news we get before actual release.
I hope the game gets out everyone on the same week at least though, waiting six months for Brawl was simply impossible.
You're my personal hero of the dayI'll agree with you there a simultaneous release would be nice. When it first came out I held off on watching videos but I eventually caved I couldn't not watch them lol. Hell this is how bad I wanted to play it it was a week before Brawl was supposed to come out and I thought to myself I'll stop into blockbuster and rent a game to tide me over till Brawl comes out. I walked in there and started browsing the games got to the Wii section and what was staring me in the face but Brawl. Blockbuster had it a week early. And I rented it lol a week before I brought Brawl I rented it.

Tell me about it. Just watching the rest of the world having their fun with it, by the time we finally got it Brawl was already being torn apart by the Melee fanbase. It sucked that not only weren't we there to experience and find things along with the rest of the world, but when we finally got it the game was already old news. I hope this time we can be there and find all these things alongside everyone else, but I'm not holding my breath.I will try to not spoil the game aside from the news we get before actual release.

Pretty much this quote.Spoiled, so I can get hyped and or disappointed now rather than later.
So ****ing boring.for games like smash bro's, as spoiler as spoiler can get. I actually HATE how there are hidden characters and stages in fighting games, and it's remains my firm belief that rosters should be completely unlocked from the get go!
PASBR's problems lied in other things than having a fully unlocked roster on the get-go. It takes a day or two max to unlock everything in Smash Bros anyways, it's a cool thing once you get it, but having everything unlocked from the beginning would hardly be a disaster. Don't get me wrong though, I like unlockables, but they're only there the first few days.So ****ing boring.
The last fighting game I've played which was like that is Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale. That game was lifeless, nothing to do at all.
Yeah sure PSABR sucked for a lot of other reasons, but one of its worst aspects were the unlockables. Basically nothing was worth it, it didn't even have an unlockable stage. And anyway I think Brawl requires a little more than two days to unlock everything...PASBR's problems lied in other things than having a fully unlocked roster on the get-go. Brawl required a run through SSE for all characters at least. Stages and especially music could take longer time, that's true.Yeah sure PSABR sucked for a lot of other reasons, but one of its worst aspects were the unlockables.
