Hi,
I was wondering whether anyone with both Super Paper Mario and Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles (or knowledge on both) could help me out with which to buy...

I haven't played a Paper Mario game before, and it generally looks like a fun game to play. But how long is the game, as I assume there is little replay value.

I enjoy on the rails light gun games (e.g. Time Crisis arcade games) and RE:UC looks like a fairly similar game, with some replay value. But some say the game is only really playable with the Wii Zapper (or equivalent) and I don't have the money to get the Wii Zapper and RE:UC...

So what are your opinions on the two games?

1) Super Paper Mario is a great game. But Paper Mario 64 is a better game, and you can get it on Virtual Console for $10! Buy that first, if you haven't played it.

2) The Wii Zapper is a useless piece of plastic. Don't buy it unless you are really keen on playing Link's Crossbow training.

3) RE:UC is a great game as well. The co-op is essepcially fun, so if you ware into rail shooters that should be your choice as it is a better value than SPM. You can (and should) play it without the Zapper.

4) BUT, foror the record, Resident Evil 4: Wii Edition is a much better game in every way - and it's $20 cheaper. Unless you've played previous versions of RE4 to death, buy that instead.

Thanks. I have RE4 on Gamecube so I don't see much point for the extras...
I'll probably get RE:UC (unless persuaded otherwise), then use my stars (I'm in EU) for extra Wii Points towards PM64

Thanks for the advice
