What even is the hitbox on this thing? So many times it has exploded directly on an enemy and nothing happened. Does the explosion "clink" with attacks or something?

Splat Bomb hitbox?

I have no idea to be honest. it explodes when it make contact... but when I try to counter it.. it just falls to my feet and THEN explodes. and a third of the time it send people back towards the stage instead of away. :\
