Spinshot out of spin dash?

This is probably a stupid thread and I missed something that is my answer but how do you use c stick to spinshot out of side b? Whenever I even have it set to tilts, he just does a jump upwards where I can't move.

C-Stick must be set to Attack now for Side-B Spinshot to work. Your timing is probably just wrong or something of the matter. You can flick any direction except for up. Down, I think, is the easiest and makes the most sense. This video covers everything, and is also updated for patch notes.
