Spin Dash VS Spin Charge

Given the nerfs to Spin Dash in ultimate, which move do you find yourself using more? I think (and maybe I am wrong, my Sonic experience is limited) Spin Charge combos easier, does more damage in and of itself, and is safer against shields, while Spindash still retains that instant burst factor which is NOT to be understated. Amongst Sonic mains is it pretty clear which one is better, and should be used in neutral?

Both still have their own uses but primarily, overall Spin Charge is definitely the better spin now.

I use both depending on what I want to do next. If I want to juggle or send knock opponents above the screen, Side+B which seems to knock upward.

If I want to drag opponents off the stage and/or knock them to the blast zones at the sides, then Down+B.

I like Down+B more in general.

Personally I only use side-B when I want to do a fast spin shot or want to do a "low budjet" ISDJ.
