I'll make this short; I want to speedrun Project M. More specifically, I want to speedrun Subspace Emissary mode in Project M's engine. Problem is, it kind of doesnt work.....
As you may or may not know, due to various issues with the game crashing, Project M has Subspace Emissary disabled. However, when I attempted to play through the game on 3.0, it crashed at the first fake Bowser encounter. This is important to note because prior to 3.0, the stage that this part was fought on was replaced Distant Planet. But when 3.0 was released, the stage was given a Pikmin theme and became the new Distant Planet. It occured to me things like this could be the reason for all of the crashes.
So, I was wondering if anybody would be willing to create a stable version of Project M that fixes all of the issues with Subspace Emissary, if it's possible. Since there are many speedrunners that play competitive Smash, I think that this would be a cool idea and could allow Smashers who are interested in speedrunning to combine their knowledge of Smash to help them speedrun.

The actual SSE file for the arena and Project M's multiplayer stage are completely separate files. You do realize that right?

Anyways, I've edited my codeset(using the previously decoded wifi codeset) to restore SSE as a selectable option in 3.02. As for issues, the only major ones remaining are that Pokemon Trainer freezes when selected, and qa second issue. If I watch a cutscene(In SSE itself, not the icons in the main menu) It tends to freeze when trying to go back to normal gameplay.

Really? Well guess I was wrong. Well, there's got to be some way to get it working.

The PMBR has stated that they are working on that. I doubt those without an in-depth knowledge of the codeset would be able to do it.

The entire 3.0 wifi codeset was decoded by the guy who started up Project M Unbound.

Yeah, that wasn't decoded, it was leaked. It's also an old codeset, many of those codes are likely different from the final release.
