speed setting?

Do people usually play on normal or fast speed setting? Whenever I watch tournaments it looks like they are playing on fast setting but I can't tell if it's just fast falling and constant dashing.

Normal. The game is fast at first cause you don't know what's happening. As you learn and get better the game slows down and you can tell what's happening more and more.

What I mean is normal seems really slow compared to what I watch on tournaments. It seems like they are playing on a faster setting.

They are just playing faster than you. You can play that fast if you have good tech skill and a deep understanding of the game.
