Unfortunately, it doesn't look like either version will have an option to separately toggle alternate special moves and equipment. I love doing random matches, so it looks like the only way to fight against CPUs or humans with random specials but without +30 attack and healing is to delete all custom equipment so that they simply aren't an option.
What are everyone else's thoughts on alternate specials not having their own toggle, not appearing in several game modes including online, and how they're unlocked? Do you think that these will be fixed in a later updates and/or that unlocked specials can be carried over to the Wii U version? (I know custom fighters can be but don't know about the moves themselves.)
