Special move screenshot change?

Silly question, silly observation. I recall seeing this back in the day as a different menu, not displaying Mario on the side, nor showing stamina mode being able to reach 300%. As though I recall my friends chatting about wondering if you can raise it. So is it just me, or did they change it?

mario was there from day one, and the 300% is the choice between starting with 300%(AKA Super Sudden Death) to playing stamina. it's not 300 HP stamina mode.
