Spacies Appreciation

Without and , Melee would not be the same. Not only are these two the fastest in the game, but are arguably the flashiest. They have tons of combos and are some of the only characters that can be combo'd. I believe Spacies should not be banned from Melee tournaments.

Melee matches would generally be slower and less flashy if Spacies were banned. Watch a ditto, then watch a ditto. You can clearly see the difference.

Many characters that perform bad against Spacies perform even worse against and . If Spacies didn't exist, and would destroy everyone. Spacies do not make the game unbalanced; they are by far the hardest characters to perform well with at a high level and have even matchups/slight advantageous matchups against the other top tiers, which are not nearly as technically demanding.

Sure, some of us have picked Spacies to increase our chances of winning. But I and many others have fun playing Spacies, and if it weren't for them, I wouldn't be playing Melee today. Spacies should not be banned from Melee tournaments.

I don't think anyone would ever seriously ban spacies. They're not that broken

They're the most fun characters to play as, play against, and watch. Who wouldn't want that?

The Melee Spacies are the gold standard when it comes to characters. They shouldn't be nerfed to the other characters' levers; the other characters should be buffed to their level. As much as I pride myself in avoiding the top tiers, I'm ashamed to admit that I have played around with them, and they feel very natural to use.

Yeah theyre pretty cool except for aids like falcos side b meteor and foxs up b to uair combo on floaties. Minus those two things they are the perfect characters along with marth imo, great balance between their strengths against floaties and fast fallers
