Smash Rookie
I'm happy to announce a free weekly tournament series in Sioux Falls, SD. Every Monday you will have a chance to compete and earn points to qualify into the Smash Master Series: Season 1 Championship Tournament.
Location:
Sioux Falls (Please PM me for exact address, as it is my house)
Time:
5:00 doors open
6:00 brackets will start
Format:
Standard Melee Ruleset
Double Elimination or Round Robin depending on the number of participants
Point System:
To incentivize consistency, every entrant will receive 2 points for attendance each week. Points will be awarded to the winner equal to the number of participants, and each rank below that will receive one point less. (If 5 people attend, 1st place gets 5 points... 2nd place gets 4 points... 3rd place gets 3... etc)

Grand Finals:
After the 7 weeks of the season, points will be tallied. The top four point holders (excluding myself, if I make it) will be invited to compete in a championship consisting of a BO5 single elimination bracket. This Grand Final will be held on March 21, the Saturday before Roll Tier V.
Prizes:
The winner of the tournament will receive an invitation to Smash Master. Smash Master is a team looking to build out of South Dakota and hopefully abroad with the intent to help promote our region and our players. Along with the team invitation, I will provide transportation to and entry into Roll Tier V. (venue fee and melee singles entry)
Second place will receive an invitation to Smash Master.
