East Carnegie Smash
Smash Rookie
Test test, mic check...
*Ahem*
Hello smashboards. This is the East San Jose Carnegie Branch Library reaching out to all SSB players in our community. If you happen to be a local resident in our physical neighborhood, you may have heard or (hopefully) visited us before. If not, we're here to update you on whats what. Remember going to a library as a child or adolescent while you were forced into a field trip for school research? Well -- we aren't that sort of library; although we do have books in case you are in fact into that sort of thing. The twist here is that we actually engage in other recreational activities other than the archaic printed kind.
Yes, believe it or not the library is into Smash Bros. We have electrical outlets with TV's plugged into them and our brilliant librarians thought to themselves, "Hey! -- we should hook up some smash to this thing!"; and so we did. Now we are looking to get some brave souls to come into our smash dojo and call out some challengers. There are in fact several other library branches in our 23+ libraries throughout our San Jose Public Library system that also participate in weekly SSB mini tournaments/ events. What we are trying to do is keep the smash community going and provide an extra venue for everyone in the south bay to meet up with new competition and at some point participate in tournaments sponsored by the library in the future.
For anyone interested -- please get in touch and let us know what San Jose players are looking for more. Melee? SSB4? help us help you! Look forward to getting to know and hear back from everyone. Cheers.
