Sort of scared to join a tournament

seeing how aggressively serious people make it, seems sorta dramatic (2 scari fo me). But like seriously though, I'm not saying I'm soo pro that ill beat everyone in the competition having everyone rage quit and tackle me, but why do they get soo salty...? Is it just that "Oh sh*t were both at high %! Who's gonna lose?!" tension or are they just that dedicated? I don't judge cause I have my moments also, I'm just curious

well what you are watching is super high level and most people won't be super mad or salty. At a local tourney which I would guess you would be going to then just chill and have fun. Some people are just really hype and serious

First off, those clips are from high level tourneys where a lot of people are watching. If you go to a weekly or local, you'll hardly see anyone like that. Second of all, most people are more composed and are good sports about it. Yeah there'll be a few people who can't keep it together or get too obnoxious, but I've rarely seen anyone get near that mad or salty in any tourneys that I've participated in. Give it a shot, chances are if anything you'll make more friends than enemies (if any). Go for it, it's an experience and you'll definitely enjoy it.
