I think it would be pretty awesome if brawl included something where you can make your own colors for a character and bring them online. It would add more uniqueness to the game and it would be very rare for you to be playing someone that looks exactly the same. And i don't think it would be that hard right? Because Mortal kombat armageddon even allowed you to create a character and bring them online. So how hard would it be just to allow someone to change their colors and bring their character online? :)

The problem with creating a character is that it doesn't serve to distinguish the game enough.

By utilizing a closed system of characters, the game retains its uniqueness in the light of other fighting games. Opening up the character creation process is akin to opening Pandora's Box: not only will the game favor the creation of disproportionately strong characters, but now any character can make the cut despite having absolutely no reason to be in Brawl.

The only unique thing the game will have after this is its physics engine. Do you buy Smash games to see its physics engine?
