Sonic's stats???

Sonic has extreme speed,and everyone who plays SSBM knows that speed kills.
But i'm kind of concerned about his stats. When i look at the videos, i notice that he has pretty good attack stats,and he's pretty hard to knock back.
(Which is weird because he seem lightweight, maybe his head and giant feet weigh 70 kilos )
This makes me kind of concerned since speed+high body weight+high attack=WIN!!!
I'm worried that the only online and tourney players will be meta knight and sonic.
I think they should lower his attack stats and weight a little,what is your opinion??

Sonic is fine. He doesn't have any really powerful attacks. He seems very well balanced, just like the rest of the roster so far. Sonic is going to be overplayed online no matter what. That shouldn't come as any surprise though..it is Sonic.

I don't know about that. Viewing all the videos thus far Sonic seems incredibly weak.
His attacks are no faster than anyone else, which is incredibly disappointing. The only thing he has speed related is his run speed, but his attacks themselves aren't very good at all.
He seems to have awesome recovery though, but most characters in this game seem to have much better recovery than before.

He seems pretty mediocre to be honest, which disappoints me tremendously.

Unless I am wrong.

I wouldn't say he's a big-time power guy. In most of the videos I see, he either kills with a FS or by edgeguarding. He doesn't look especially weighty either.

What he does look like is a heavyduty combo rapist. Between an attack that pops people into the air, a multihitting upsmash with an extended period of damage, and that juggle-licious uair, I can see him racking up serious damage in a short time, especially if we can get some interesting techs in this game.

I think he is just as balanced as the other char. in SSBB. He's fast but very weak. I agree with dragonbreath. Sonic and Meta Knight are combo kings.
