Smash Lord
As we all know, Sonic's stage in Super Smash Bros. for Wii U will be Windy Hill from Sonic Lost World.
However. No stage to represent the Sonic franchise has been shown on the 3DS version. This may be because the 3DS version just hasn't gotten any footage since the last E3. In this thread, let's discuss what stage we might see from the Sonic series on the 3DS.
Here's some of my ideas:

Plant Kingdom
The first stage from Sonic Rush Adventure, a Nintendo DS game. As it's a handheld Sonic game, it would make sense for it to appear on the handheld version of Smash.
Sonic Generations Tour
From the Nintendo 3DS version of Sonic Generations, Sonic and his classic counterpart race through stages from his past that completely differ from the other HD console versions'. I think it'd be pretty awesome to see a travelling-like stage featuring the stages from Generations 3DS.
And lastly, if they just want to go the Smash Circuit/Punch-Out!! Stadium route, they could just copy/paste the Windy Hill stage onto the 3DS as the handheld system also had its own equivalent of Sonic Lost World.
