Sonic skin's crashes the game

for some reason i have the normal sonic skins but when im in the CSS when i got to sonic before i can hover over him my game crashes what is the problem?

yes but then i put it back to the normal portraits

Backup your SD card (if you've made any changes to things like textures, music, etc), defrag and reformat your SD card to FAT, and do a fresh reinstall of 3.02 and see if it works, then slowly make your changes.

well evrythign was working fine i had a skin but when i changed the portrait the game started to crash. could that be the problem

If your character portrait is a certain format this will happen. I'm pretty sure most portraits are CMPR. Make sure it is set to that.

Also are you using Cbliss?

I have a similar scenario but one sonic skin, in particular the amy color from the semi-alt pack, crashes every time I do an up-b with that costume.
