Sonic Help

Hello, I'm new to the smashboards and I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for using Sonic? I'm trying to get really good with him, but he seems fairly difficult cause all his moves are so similar and he seems to have a hard time getting the final hit to send them flying. Any tips?

Don't be afraid to be "cheesy" or "cheap", 'cause that's Sonic for ya. Space yourself for the whole battle, only closing the gap to kill, and keep on the move. The dash attack seems to be good to spam. I also like to rush with a charged downB->jump->Nair. Kill moves are Fsmash, Dsmash, and Bair, which are all situational so take care when using them.

Thanks, this probably sounds noobish but what is "Bair"?

Fair is Front Air.
Nair is Neutral Air.
Dair is Down Air.
