I don't know know if anyone knows about this, but when I was messing around with Sonic. You are able to footstool jump your opponent when you hit your opponent with a down b, and following it up by jumping, and while still drilling on your opponent, hit jump again.
I'm not a Sonic main or even use sonic that much, but with Sonic's speed, you could definitely experiment with it. Heres what first came to my mind.
Opponent has pretty high damage, (nothing special since sonic doesnt have much killing moves). Bair, opponent flies across the stage, sprint, down b, jump, footstool jump him over the edge. And if death isn't for sure, neutral b to shove him back down.
If anything, it should be checked out.
