After sifting through the site a bit (it's not all that bad a site, actually), I've discovered what our friend was talking about. Here's the link:

I doubt that this is really any type of confirmation about Sonic. Lots of magazines have typos, and this could definitely be one of them. Also, it could just be them attempting to get more publicity.
