Remember the time you screamed like a little girl when sonic was comfirmed for brawl? Remember when you saw shadow as a assist trophy and you wanted him as a character in the next game? Remember when you saw Tails, Knuckles and Silver as cameos in Green Hill Zone? And when you saw sonic comfirmed for Sm4sh, im pretty sure you were thinking "Wow! Sonic is back! Does this mean we are getting another one?". Many people want other sonic characters to be the 2nd sonic character for Smash Bros. This thread is meant to discuss about the sonic characters we would wish to see for smash, in other words, discuss.

Hands Down. Silver. Bring him in PLEASE! Also, Shadow would be very cool too, but that would be close to impossible since he is already an assist trophy.

I would think silver is very unlikely. First of all, he hasnt been in many sonic games, and 2nd of all, he was made in 2006, brawl was made in 2008, so hes new to the sonic franchise. But i want tails, hes the 2nd most iconic sonic character, while sonic is top. Tails is a cameo, but he can be replaced by amy for cameo, and for those who think "TELLS CANT FIGT LEL" he actually can fight, STF and SB enough said. Hes sonics luigi and he has alot of potiental so why not him?

Just... to me, tails is an ok character... in the past like Sonic adventure 1, tails was a little annoying, but a good character. Don't remind me of tails in 06 (like that game still, except the story and physics). But since Tails was 8 in Heroes, I have no Idea how old he is in Lost world, but He seems to look/sound/act better in that game, I like it a lot. But still, I like tails back in Sonic 2, but again... Tails isn't my favorite, but he is a very good character in the sonic franchise. Also, I will not even talk about the Archie sonic comics. If we're talking about sonic characters being in sm4sh, they need to be in their roots: the Video Games.

I think Eggman would be kind of awesome. He has mech suits and a plethora of weaponry. Given all the arsenal at his disposal I think it would be fairly easy to draw on ideas for his character when in development.

Eggman..Ehh. For them he can be hard for such a pick for a 2nd sonic rep, plus, i dont think any game franchise represented in smash starts out with a hero and villian.

Also there are few franchises with such an iconic villain. Bowser is one such icon and he is in. Ganondorf is one such icon and he made the cut as well.

Hmmm... I remember back then, there was a leak for metal sonic being a costume bur it was fake, in my opinion, i would rather have shadow as a alt so all those shadow fanboys can STFU. They are like, pests.

Eh, I like Shadow as a character, but I'm indifferent on him being in Smash. I was happy enough that Sonic made the cut.
I think Knuckles would fit the best personally, though. I could easily imagine a move set for him.

Knuckles to me is a maybe, but i think hes great for a 3rd rep though. But if hes little mac with gliding, then im diggin it.

I personally want Tails in Smash because he's Sonic's sidekick and best friend. He's very important to Sonic, so this is why I think he'd be a good Smash rep.

Personally, I'd prefer Knuckles or Blaze. Knuckles is Sonic's longtime friendly rival, I could see him being "upset" that all the other fighters get to beat up his favorite blue punching bag on a daily basis.

Blaze on the basis that there's potential to represent some of the modern Sonic gameplay (Boosting and some Sonic Battle moves) since she can be seen as an opposite to Sonic.

I do not know the exact number at the moment, but I would put in at least ten (the same with other franchises).
