Sometimes on ZSS I can't throw immediately after a grab. Anyone else?

Never heard of it. Can you give any details?
Puff on ZSSamus? Every direction? Any percentage?

When I'm playing against humans sometimes no matter the percent I'll grab people and there'll be some huge delay on when I throw them even though I'm inputting a down throw.

I main Samus, and I have the exact same problem. It's because you're inputing a smash instead of a tilt. I find for whatever reason the tether grabs do not accept a smash input until like 1-2 seconds in. This is a bug. A really frustrating bug, because you smash the stick when it's a clutch....

I'm assuming you're referring to the strength with which you input a direction after grabbing... which is odd, because I input directions fairly forcefully on the analog stick out of habit, including when using ZSS's throws, and have never come across this at all. :ohwell:

It happens to me sometimes and it's annoying. I'll grab and I'll input the throw, but it won't happen and the opponent manages to jump out of my grab sometimes.

I'm simply MORE forceful. ;)
Seriously, I'm not sure if it's the strength or the speed at which I hit the stick but if I gently tilt I get results. I also use a nunchuk-wii-mote (blasphemy!) so that may factor.
