Something very weird about VS Anyone mode

Okay, so... i used to find a lot of different opponents on Basic Brawl and Team Battle a long time ago, but nowadays i seem to find nobody. But my friends does, i visit their houses and play their copy of Brawl on WiFi and VS anyone, and they find opponents A LOT faster. What's up with this? Is it because they have the PAL version of Brawl and i have the NTSC version?

what region do u live in? i heard somehwere(i think from another posy on swf) that different versions of brawl only connect to the same version on with anyone, so maybe there used to be a lot of people around u who played brawl who dont now that have that version(maybe only 5 or something that u always saw) or maybe they just got a different version and now no1 around u has that version, it could also be connection problems or something, basic brawl/tb would always work for me, then for 10 months or something it NEVER worked and i got d/c after like 10 min b4 i ever conneted w/anyone, and then in the past few months it started working again.

I live in Europe, Norway.

Also, it's been like this for a very long time. Not just some months. And my connection is just fine, it works perfectly with the people on my friend roster. it's just Basic Brawl and Team Battle that's being deserted for me.

Maybe it has something to do with the speed of your Wi-fi. Try using your Wii at his house, with his internet settings, and try it.
