Something to be careful about when Brawl is released.............

We know that the day Brawl is released in Japan that "most" of us will look up the final roster, but its no quistion that people will also post fake rosters and stuff at the time to fool us. So we need to be careful about checking that out, Or have some moderator or anything person to "Sticky" the real roster, we don't need to fight about characters on Japan's release date if its wrong.

So please, we must figure out a good way to figure out the real roster's from fake ones..

Sorry to say, but Photoshopped rosters, already have a lot of people fooled already, I even got fooled by one that looked exactly like the one of Dojo but with more characters,

I remain convinced that the true roster will come packaged with copious amounts pictures/videos/etc. and also linked with CREDIBLE sites. Come January 24th, fake rosters will have no more clout due to uncertainty and will more than likely be minimal to nonexistant. You'll know which is the real one.

you should try looking for gamplay evidence and photos, its a lot harder to disprove them.
if studied your scources well enough you won't have to worry about this problem.

Um... all you have to do is look at the pictures of the characters in the roster. The only way a roster is real is that it will have new pictures that we haven't seen before of the characters that haven't been revealed.

If I see pictures of the game manual or some Prima guide that showed all the characters, I'll 100% believe it to be the final roster, even if it was photoshopped >_<

There will be people posting the "roster" at 12:01 on the 24th, not realizing that its impossible to buy the game, get home, unlock all the characters, and then post about it.

I believe we have a sticky for info about Brawl when it is released, and you should trust to see all the info with spoiler tags around the time Brawl is released in Japan.

Between January 20th and 24th, we'll probably be getting a "ZOMG THIS IS THE REAL ROSTER!!!!111!!!1one" thread every twenty minutes or so, with the frequency decreasing as we get closer to zero hour.
But we'll know the real one, because it will have pictures. Pictures of the roster, of the characters in action, and on new stages. Words are unreliable - pictures will show us the way.
