If you go to smashbros.com, and try saving the icons at the top left corner of every post (the ones that represent the different franchises, such as the mushroom for Mario). You'll notice that they all have a filename that has a seemingly random number at the end. These are the numbers and their images.

Does this mean that there will be 17+ franchises in brawl? There are eight extra spots for more franchises, and when you add the five other franchises that are inevitible, (fire emblem, earthbound, Donkey Kong, F-Zero, and, of course, Metal Gear Solid,) you have at least three more franchises!

Mr. Game and Watch,
Balloon Fight,
Pikmin,
Animal Crossing,
Sonic,
Pacman,
Megaman,
Elite Beat Agents.
