when isee alot of "proffesional " cf players play they are whiffing on a lot of short hops.....but they never really get punished it just gets wierd....

it's one of the reason i play conservitvely with cf

only shffl when an opening appears and the rest is just poke and grab combo's

then again i am making his thread 5 in the morning so who noes.....

theres not much danger in shffling nairs from distance, if thats what you mean
it is good for a faster more unpredictable falcon and more offensive looking

Empty short hops are used to try and fake out the opponent, because then your landing to dash lag is non-existant. A SHFFL is much easier to punish because, even with l-cancelled ariels, landing lag can still be punished with a grab. Poking is a very effective strategy as it wears your opponent down and can be hard to stop. Grab combos are where it's at for Falcon :)

Falcon punch for best poke! Nair is safer than your jab because it has a bit better range.
