Some sort of glitch

So I was messing around with little mac in training and i'm not sure if this is intended or not. I basically spawned a bunch of hotocate bombs and side smashed them twice to make them explode. Of course, my damage skyrocketed, but little mac took no knockback. Anyone know the meaning to this?

When Little Mac is using Smashes, he has Super Armor for the duration of it. In other words he takes damage but no knockback.

Little Mac has a ton of super armor frames on all of his Smashes.
