so i was looking up character matchups with pichu and found 4 characters that have disadvantageous matchups against pichu
they are
1 yoshi
2 kirby
3 bowser
4 zelda
in theory this means that they are worse than pichu and would be the new f tier as they are not viable enough to beat pichu and therefore are nonviable altogether
do you think that these matchups should determine character viability

1- What are you doing to "look up" character matchups? That's silly.

2- The argument that a character is worse than another one if it loses to it is ridiculous. Is Marth on the same level as Ganon because on the smash wiki it says it's a 50-50 match up? This is ridiculous.

Tier placement is based upon that character's viability against the rest of the cast as a whole, not against one character. Also, the MU chart is horribly outdated, so you can't trust the meta of yesteryear to prove a MU.

Match-ups are largley irrelevant, Ganon beats Marth, does that mean that Ganon is better than Marth? No, so this information is irrelevant.

what i am saying is that as a whole matchups with pichu are generally a sign of whether a character is e tier or f tier this regards to if a character has poor matchups against pichu it is questionable that they have good matchups with anyone else as pichu is considered by 70 to 95 percent of players as being the worst character in the game by saying that these 4 have poor matchups with him is saying that their entire tournament results may be subpar marth vs ganondorf does not interfere with tier rank as much as if in theory marth had a poor matchup with pichu because ganondorf for the moment is 50 times better than pichu
