Alright everyone. I have decided to main Jiggs! (jk)...Falcon! because of his manly sexyness. (and combo ability) Now, I just need to know where to go, and who to talk to. Who can help me inprove my game? I don't really have anyone close to me that will play, so..I'm out of luck there. I want to go to some smashfests..but I again have no idea of where I'm going. If someone could talk to somebody or point me in a right direction, that would be awesome. I don't think I'll ever be one of the greats, but I sure as hell am going to put a lot of time and effort into it. I've been practicing pretty much nonstop for the past 2 days, and I'm loving everything that I've read so far that has contributed to my game. I can WD, WL, L cancel, and I just started learning to SHFFL. If you read my earlier thread, you would know (or wouldn't, if you didn't bother to read it) that I had just gotten this game last week. I have a youtube channel if anyone wants to check it out. I have like 40-60 videos of my playing Melee...because Brawl sucks. Anyway, please reply if you're willing, or if you can, ask some people around to help me out. I'm dying to talk to people who *know* what they are doing. I love this game, and I'm really excited about improving it, and becoming a better player in general.

Thanks so much for taking the time to read this lengthy message.

Sincerely,
Laah

What's your youtube channel? Mine is "MooseEatsBear". lol But really, all you can do at this point to improve is play people that are better than you. Go to the regional zones in Tournament discussion, and look for a tournament in your area. Or try holding your own smashfest. Just get people to bring Cubes and Melees, and they'll come, if it's close enough for them. Just offer food and a place to smash lol. If you look at my channel, and watch some videos against "YBeZ", and compare them to my newer target test-like videos, you can see how much I've improved. In my YBeZ videos, I was just where you are in my learning curve. But now I've been to three tournaments, and Smash with pros occasionally. I've gotten decently better. So fust play people better than you.

Check the Captain Falcon character specific threads and go find your area in the Regional Zones section. Chances are, there's probably a brocator thread for your state.
