Smash Lord
I'm not sure if this is the place to put a quasi-petition, so move it where it needs to go if it's in the wrong place.
I'm tired of trying to get all the custom moves. I dislike how there are so many more pieces of equipment than custom moves, and since they're lumped together in every mode, it seems I only have a 1 in 4 chance of getting custom moves to begin with. It's even worse that I have 200+ custom moves, so every time I get a custom move, there's only a 1 in 3 chance I even get a new one, making it a 1 in 12 chance I get a new custom move (which decreases the more I get), and with over 100 left, it's going to take MUCH longer than I deem necessary.
What I mostly don't understand is why trophies, which don't affect gameplay at ALL, are much easier to get (and in fact have two ways to getting them more easily) than custom moves (or equipment for that matter), which heavily affect gameplay. Why make trophies, a feature since Melee, so easy to get and then neglect the NEW selling features you added?
The main problem with Amiibos is that they cost money, and I wouldn't use them otherwise. The main problem I have with classic mode/other normal modes is that they take WAY too long just to get 1 or 2 moves, and you have the possibility of losing them if you lose because of some random CPU/item/stage bull****. The main problem I have with Trophy Rush is that I lose money every round, and it isn't reliable for getting custom moves.
I think it's painfully obvious that we need a way to get custom moves more easily. I can think of four possible ways this could happen:
1. Equipment/Custom Moves Rush. As I said before, Trophy Rush isn't reliable for getting custom moves, and if I'm going to lose money anyways, I'd like it to be reliable. I wouldn't mind if it were a clone, but if it were something more unique, it would be even cooler.
2. Equipment/Custom Moves Store. This is probably the most straightforward, and it would make the coins I got in other modes actually worth it.
3. Make it impossible to get repeats. As I mentioned before, I already have about 2/3 of the custom moves, and so every time I even get a custom move, there's only a 1/3 chance it will be new (and that decreases the more I get). I'm especially tired of getting repeats for characters of whom I only have a few custom moves, because it feels like I got screwed out of a good opportunity.
4. Separate equipment from custom moves. If I haven't made it obvious yet, I honestly don't care for equipment, and it bothers me that they lumped together everything affects gameplay in one section. I'd rather know that I'm getting custom moves, even if they are repeats, than have the game give me unwanted "Quick Batter Shoes".
They don't have to all be combined--even just having one of these will make getting custom moves much easier.
You might think it's too late to request something like this, considering the Japanese 3DS release is approaching its first birthday, but I find it ridiculous that in the 8 months I've had the game, my custom move journey has almost entirely halted so far away from completion, and I know several people who feel the same.
You might also think it would cheat the people who got them the hard way. To that, I would say that they would be proud that they got them the hard way, and giving more people access to everything more easily would be beneficial anyway.
(I would also like some way to separate custom moves from equipment in what's allowed for a match, but that's a slightly different topic.)
