Hey everyone froggy2605 here :)
I have a question and I was wondering if you guys and gals could help me...

1. Could any of you maybe post some links where I can see someone talk about Luigi's advanced moves and how to do them

2. This is just something I've been wondering; On my gamecube controller I can press something called Turbo which makes it so instead of pressing for instance I can just hold it down which can be very useful for using tornado to recover but I was wondering though if people might look at that as cheating.

Welcome to the Luigi boards froggy2605!

If you're new, you should check the stickies before anything else. Here is a link to the Luigi table of contents, this is stickied and can be used to look up a plethora of Luigi info:

To answer your other question, I would not personally allow a turbo controller at the tournaments that I run, and I don't think many other TOs would, either. Sorry! Work on those button mashing skills :)

As a Luigi main, I can really tell you one thing... Luigi isn't about Advanced Techniques -- he's about using your basic techniques intelligently. Spacing, pressuring, and punishing opponents' mistakes are absolutely vital to Luigi's game and take precedence over ATs.

Turbo Controllers are usually frowned upon past friendlies with peeps you know. I'm pretty sure they are banned in most tournaments as well. I personally don't like turbo controllers (but I use controllers without the spring to powershield).

No, spring mod is legal at most tourneys
^^^ In Melee it might've been, though some tournaments allowed it iirc, spring mods are important for Luigi imo, because he needs powershielding with all his slipperyness, and spring modding helps you hit the button faster to do so, if only by a little bit.
