Some help on trying to run the game with edited flags on items

I've viewed them using OpenSA2 and edited the flags of the items using the HxD hex editor and i was trying the run the game like the edited ones and it freezes when i run the game. Could someone please help fix this file so that i can be able to show someone that hack please? Its the common3_en.pac file.

Edit: Anyone! please give me the instructions, Now!
