Hi, I'm posting here about a problem me and my friends had and couldn't figure out until recently. I haven't seen any mention of a solution here and I don't think it's very obvious, so I hope this helps somebody.
If your friends can't see your lobby, or your friends' lobbies don't show up, it's likely because one of you don't have it set so others will see your status online. Go to the Friends List from the Home menu, and in the Settings in the upper-left corner and under the notification settings set "Yes" to letting others see your online status. Then your friends should be able to find and join your lobby.
