I got am message saying to put this here as no one in tournament listings cares, lol.
SoloSSD's Stupid Brawl+ Tournament Thing
This is my first time hosting a tournament, so please forgive me if my description is lacking.

Location: 1911 Oregon Street, Berkley
Date: Saturday, May 23rd, 2009
Time: 12:00 opening
Entry Fee(both brawl+ and vBrawl): $5
Venue fee: $1
Payout: 60/30/10

Unless there is a newer release, the tournament will be running the brawlplusery 4.0 BETA codeset, found here:
http://www.smashboards.com/showthread.php?t=220363

I will enforce this by using my own SD card to boot homebrew channel on all consoles that are brought.

I will have recording setups, so matches will be recorded and uploaded to youtube.

Rules for Brawl+:
No items - all items are turned off, frequency is set to "none"
4 stock
7 minute timer
No stalling - you all know what this is, don't pretend that you don't - prolonging the match for extended periods of time without any combat. The point is to hit the other guy off the stage, remember that.
Matches are best of 3, except for loser's, winner's, and Grand finals, which are best of 5
First stage will be determined via stage striking. Stages are as follows:

Neutrals:
Battlefield
Final Destination
Smashville
Pokemon Stadium 2 - fixed version
Warioware - fixed version

Counterpick:
Yoshi's Island
Halberd
Luigi's mansion - Fixed version
Lylat Cruise
Pokemon Stadium 1
Brinstar
Delfino Plaza
Frigate Orpheon
Jungle Japes
Pictochat
Rainbow Cruise
