Sup, I'm wondering what're some effective things I can practice by myself to improve Falco skills in general. If there's already a thread for this, my bad(a link to that thread would be nice :D) thanks!

Assuming you've familiarized yourself with the "how to play" video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vckV2MJgBzo

I would take a look at these videos:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tb_B_2TEHBA
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T_CrTWvKpRQ

They both go into like, what falco can do. the first one is more of tech skill you can practice, the second one talks more about Falco's options in different situations (and sometimes techskill you can practice)

The most important things with Falco IMO are being able to SHL, being able to do L-canceled Dair into Shine, and being able to waveshine. SHL lets you control space, Dair-Shines (or nair-shines) let you fairly reliably start some combos, Waveshining turns shine from a ****ty 20-something frame move with a 1 frame hitbox into an amazing 4 frame move with a 1 frame hitbox that you can move out of and follow up. If you have those 3 advanced tech down, you can start playing Falco "as he was meant to be played."

All in all though, make sure you have the tech skill to do these sorts of things. If you can't pull off a maneuver at will, then you can't rely on it in combat.

there's a lot you can do to improve with falco. first you can sharpen your ability to combo all the characters. don't only practice pillar combos, practice various combos at different percentages on all characters that start differently and also end differently. This way you'll be able to punish anybody regardless of how you get a clean hit. another really important thing is to work on movement. running around the stage and maneuvering around the platforms have to become natural. honestly if you end up in a bad position because of a mistake when spacing yourself or just trying to move around in general, then you can lose your stock just like that.
